"Tender Grapes"

Someone asked me about this painting. Here is my response:

 

 

Stylized. My approach was acrylic used like watercolor. Then I had been away from my studio for some time. My husband had major brain surgery. Doing well, thank you.

Today my energy was low. Coming back to my passion. I wanted to maintain a certain simplicity. I study Song of Songs off and on for inspiration. I found one verse that spoke to me about newness and the hope of being fruitful. The suggestion of tender grapes gives me promise. I named  the painting  after the painting was finished.
